Safety & Duty of Care

In 2011, GO GROUND and the NCAA established the requirement that charter buses used for teams playing in post-season championships must be Department of Defense Certified (DoD)—the highest safety standard available at the time. GO GROUND demonstrated to the NCAA that standards should be even higher than what the government was providing; their resources just didn’t allow for adequate safety oversight. GO GROUND with Consolidated Safety Services introduced TSX Certification to assure the NCAA and its member institutions, that Duty of Care for student athletes was clearly met. This new focus on safety is spreading throughout a number of state educational systems, universities, athletics departments, and school districts that are all following the NCAA/GO GROUND lead. STATS Certified replaces TSX. STATS is a combined rating system that, in addition to safety, includes best practices and customer satisfaction
